A. A Personal OR Business PayPal account integrates with CloudSwipe. Optional - If you are using a Personal account you can follow the instructions at https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-upgrade-my-paypal-account-type-faq900 to Upgrade.
Q. What is a transaction fee?
A. The transaction fee is the percentage you pay on each transaction that is processed by CloudSwipe. In addition to our transaction fee which is currently 0%, you will pay a processing fee to your gateway service provider (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
For example, if you are on CloudSwipe your transaction fee would be 0%. If you also live in the United States and use Stripe, your default gateway processing rate would be 2.9% + 0.30¢ per transaction for credit cards. This would make your total fees 2.9% + 0.30¢ per transaction in this example.

A. No, you don’t need a credit or debit card. If you are on the Bootstrap plan, you don't ever need to give us a credit card number. You simply pay us a percentage of each successful transaction.
